Relentless Rebuking

This is a delayed post. My computer had been out of order, just like my life.

My much apprehended CLAT results are out, and approximately 6000 students have betrayed my intelligence and outdone me. *pathos*

Surprisingly, a similar number of students have pitied me and decided not to do the same. Yes, I am obliged!

Now, as if the panning from my entire family wasn't enough, a general ignorance has also added to the abasement. When people ask me my rank and I say 6000, they think its like the "joint entrance" type of stuff and go "WOW! Where will you get chance?"

I wryly retort by saying "I've got a chance everywhere, provided I reappear for the exam" or " I've got a chance to sit back at home and relax"

This would be followed by the "oohs and ahhs and eh hees.. Try hard, sure you can make it next time"

It's like someone comes to you and says " Oh you have so much dirt on your face! Come let me wash it off.... :) ... with my piss!! :X )

Ladies and Gentlemen, missing out on such exams can have hazardous repercussions. A serious amount of ceaseless flak can invoke a remorse of the highest order. Much like condom calamities. So if you are about to appear for such an exam, make sure, you don't appear!

Now, other things!

India has come back to the ways of losing after a faltering end to their dream run. Their exit from the T20 world cup was heart-rending. Almost every player in the team were supposedly injured, including luck. I don't have much expectations from the impending World Championship's trophy either.

My gymming has been going really well. I've reduced my weight to 82.9 right now ( from 93), and things seem to be shaping up. I've been asked to binge on protein foods, and so I'm loving the kababs! ;)

My sex life has apparently gone on a vacation, and my flaccid, unused weapon of mass destruction has threatened me with a voluntary retirement!

After some arrangements, I plan to return back to my mating days sometime this week or so.

Anyway, I leave now. Plan to post updates soon.

Coming back to life!

It's almost been over a fortnight since my mal-area episode, and I've restored to my normal routine now. In fact, my return to daily life started in a style, most can only dream of. Or rather, they wouldn't even dream of it.

I was advised complete bed rest till last Saturday, and on Sunday, I sprang up with a growl, got ready and off I went to appear for the ClAT exam.

Trust me , I have panache!!

Anyway, I did not relapse into my previous condition, but it could not stop me from ailing a bit.

The paper wasn't to difficult, but it wasn't a tad too easy either ( especially with two unnerved retards on either side of my seat ).

There were some laudable questions, like "name the director of chak de india" and the meaning of "vice versa", etc.
.... probably under the "hold on to dear grace" quota.

And some silly questions, like "name which nobel laureate is the something minister of some south asian something", then, " who got the world something food award" ..etc!

I can't even remember such questions! Obviously one can imagine how silly they were.

May be, these were under the "assualt of grace" quota.

Well, nevertheless. Now that it's all over, I can merrily wait for the results and count my remaining days of mirth.

I've started going to my gym again, and it feels really good. Initially, I couldn't lift the weights I used to, but now I think I've overcome that also. Today will be my 25th day, and my chart will be re-scheduled. Prior to that, however, my measurements will be taken again, and I've lost a cheerful 8 kilos since my joining. :)

anyway, more later!
